Soldering Technician
NKRF is a CEMILAC certified and space qualified growing manufacturer of RF cable assemblies, wire harnesses and fibre optic assemblies. We are India’s only manufacturer of spaceworthy and airworthy cable assemblies and are exporting to several defence & space programs in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Job Summary
Hand soldering in coaxial assembly for RF cable assemblies up to 6GHz.
Key Responsibilities
- Build RF cable assemblies by following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools specific to wire harness & RF/coax cable assembly up to minimum of 6GHz.
- Learn and perform basic functional testing on completed assemblies.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years in defence & aerospace manufacturing environment; hand soldering experience is mandatory; preference for coaxial cable assembly experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep experience in hand soldering using resistance soldering and/or Weller soldering station; knowledge of good/bad soldering techniques and rework.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and high precision.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Qualification: ITI or Diploma in circuit branch.
