Wire Harness Technician
NKRF is a CEMILAC certified and space qualified growing manufacturer of RF cable assemblies, wire harnesses and fibre optic assemblies. We are India’s only manufacturer of spaceworthy and airworthy cable assemblies and are exporting to several defence & space programs in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Job Summary
Assembly and testing of wire harnesses for military & defence applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies by following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools specific to wire harness assembly.
- Conduct basic continuity and functional testing on completed assemblies.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ability to make coax cables is a pluspoint.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in manufacturing wire harness for defence & aerospace.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MIL-SPEC and aerospace connectors; experience with military-grade connectors and soldering techniques.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a high level of precision.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Qualification: ITI or Diploma in circuit branch.
